When I feel ashamed


You are not your debt. And you are not your shame.

Shame is a feeling that wants to protect you – but sometimes it silences you. You are allowed to show yourself, even when you feel ashamed.


🧭  Your step today: Take a sheet of paper and write

 

  • "I feel ashamed because …"
  • "I fear others think …"
  • "I wish that ..."

 

Read it aloud – only for yourself.

Then cross out one sentence you no longer want to carry. And underline one sentence that affirms your dignity.
