What I keep – and how I honor it
Sometimes you pass something on. Sometimes you keep something for yourself.
Both can have their own balance.
This chapter helps you stay kind to yourself – without guilt or pressure.
🛠️ Three steps
1. Make a small clarification – for yourself
- What do I want to keep?
- Why is it important to me?
- What helps me hold on to it?
→ You may stay true to yourself – without needing to explain.
2. Make a small decision – with balance
- I keep something today – and may choose differently tomorrow.
- I say no – not out of defiance, but out of conviction.
- I stay true to myself – even when others expect something different.
→ You may keep – without feeling guilty.
3. Make a small gesture – to affirm your keeping
- Set a coin aside – just for yourself.
- Write down a sentence: "I may keep something – and stay kind."
- Take a short break – as a way to honor yourself.
→ You may protect yourself – and still stay open.
🧾 Mini exercise: Three things I want to keep
| What do I keep? | Why? | How do I show it? | What helps me? |
|---|---|---|---|
| €5 for myself | For later | I say it gently | I set it aside |
| Time in the afternoon | For rest | I say no | I plan ahead |
| My own idea for the project | For clarity | I put it in my own words | I write it down |
→ You may say no – without causing conflict.
🕊️ Closing impulse
You may keep something – without having to explain.
You may stay true to yourself – without feeling guilty.
You may say no – with kindness.
You may protect yourself – and still stay open.
